Upon this Rock was birthed from a support group that Bishop Eddie and Pastor Deborah started within their local church 1999. The purpose of the support group was to help its members restore their lives. The Pastor of their local church no longer felt the calling and walked away from the ministry, so Eddie & Deborah continued on with the support group. The support group evolved into a church in the year 2000, and it continues to grow and reach the community.

The mission of Upon This Rock is to help members build their lives and families on the solid rock of Jesus Christ.

To raise up a body of believers that will know how to use the Word of God to overcome the wiles of the devil, to become victorious over all strongholds and situations in their lives, to live the Word of God, and to win souls to Jesus Christ.
