Apostle Eddie Griggs, Jr.

Apostle Eddie Griggs is the founder and Apostle of Upon This Rock Family Ministries. Apostle Griggs is an anointed visionary, preacher, and teacher.  God has called him to a great assignment: To build a body of believers willing to live the Word of God, to reach the unchurched, and to teach them to live the Word of God.

Apostole Griggs was born on October 11 in Augusta, Ga., and served in the U.S. Army for 3 years, where he received several special achievement awards for serving our country faithfully.  He worked for 15 years at Warner Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins, Ga., where he specialized in Aircraft Hydraulics.  Pastor Eddie received his license to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the year 2000.

He attended the American University of Biblical Studies and continues to seek areas of study to enhance the call upon his life. He has served faithfully in the Body of Christ by ministering to the homeless as well as assuming numerous roles, including Staff Leader, Youth Director, Choir Director, and Evangelistic Team member.  He is the proud father of three children: Victoria, Sharod and Taboris; and three grandchildren, Trey, Victor, and Nova. He is married to an awesome woman of God, Prophetess Deborah Griggs.

Pastor Deborah Griggs

Prophetess Deborah Griggs is the wife of Eddie Griggs, Pastor and Founder of Upon This Rock Family Ministries.  An anointed and uncompromising teacher of the Word of God who is devoted to the vision of both ministries, Pastor Deborah assists her husband with a variety of duties to ensure that he carries out his God-given mandate.  A devoted wife and mother, Pastor Deborah emphasizes faith and family in her ministry.  She attended the American University of Biblical Studies and she continues to expand her areas of study to enhance God's call upon her life.

Pastor Deborah has earned many awards, including the Standing Against the Odds Award, and she has represented the women of God in the Body of Christ with great integrity.  She is committed to helping women and she has set up a yearly retreat called Women on the Rock, a women's fellowship that reflects sisterly care and love.  She passionately encourages women to support and fulfill the purpose of God in their lives.

Her teachings inspire and challenge women to develop a strong relationship with God and with their families  Pastor Deborah is the proud mother of two sons, Sharod and Taboris; a daughter, Victoria; and three grandchildren, Trey, Victor, and Nova. There is no doubt that God is first in her life. Pastor Deborah and her family reside in Atlanta, Ga.
